So SpongeBob and Patrick are just trying to do some good by visiting the elderly—classic wholesome Bikini Bottom vibes—when of course Plankton and Man Ray show up to ruin everything. Typical. Now they’ve gotta fix a busted time machine in the Mermalair before their geriatric superhero pals can even attempt to save the day. The whole thing’s got that goofy SpongeBob energy where everything spirals into chaos in the best way.

You’re basically running around smacking jellyfish with bubbles (space bar) and poking at weird underwater machinery while the usual suspects bumble through the plot. The controls are simple—arrows to move, space to interact—but half the fun is seeing what ridiculous thing happens next. Like, at one point Patrick gets distracted by a sandwich. Of course he does.

It’s short, silly, and feels like playing through a lost episode where the writers just went "what if we threw time travel in there too?"
